"Where Am I Holding Myself Back?"

The following is a channeled message received by me 6/24/03 and I believe it has valuable information for anyone who is contemplating taking a step outside of their comfort zone.

Question: Where am I holding myself back?

In the area of your personal self growth you have remained stunted in some of the most important areas. You stubbornly hang onto your "poor little me" image, the victimized little girl who you were fifty of your years ago. Grow up! We say this in the most loving and nurturing way.

As a flower grows up from a seed and becomes a beautiful, colorful flower, giving all who view it pleasure, so it is that you may grow up to become the beautiful bloom that you have in your destiny.

It does the flower no good to hide itself under the protection of other plants. If it hides, the bees will not find it to pollinate it and the sun will not find it to aid in its full, healthy growth and the rain will not find it to give it life-giving water.

Question: Nice metaphor, but how exactly am I holding myself back. Be specific to my life and this reality.

You are afraid, are you not, of taking the workshop we gave you to a larger venue, a big city? We tell you that if you choose to do this with the intent of fulfilling your destiny you will be happy with the results. You and others who partake/participate in the workshop will gain much.

We give you the remembrance of a time past when you were a great priestess and were at the head of many gatherings. You were then, as you are now, quite powerful. Then you did not hid your light as you do now. You were greatly loved, respected, and admired for the work you did. Much of that work is incorporated into this workshop. So move ahead knowing that a part of what you are doing is sacred and holy, as it was in the past. You will be given proof of this during this workshop coming up - starting today in the energy and the dynamics that are created. It is alchemy that you do - creating something sacred out of the mundane. This will be manifest as the energetic dynamics of the woman who will join you in creating this magic today.

If you don't do this for yourself, do it for the higher good of all. Each time you create this energy, you raise the vibration of all on this planet, as do all humans who gather to create a higher energy by meditating, praying, creating sacred ritual. We honor you for doing this and encourage you to continue, for it will speed your evolution to its highest conclusion.

Do not be afraid to take this work out to the world for it is a sacred gift that we have given you. Trust and it shall be so.
