Young Living Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils

Essential Oils by Young Living are therapeutic-grade, pure, organic oils with no additives. They are highly concentrated natural plant extracts and a drop or two can produce significant results. They can be used in many ways - diffusing, in aromatherapy, on the skin, in massage oils... they're so pure they can even be eaten!

The molecules of essential oils are also relatively small, giving them the ability to easily penetrate the cells in your body. When topically applied to the feet or elsewhere, essential oils can travel throughout the body in a matter of minutes.

The essential oils of the plant and the human blood share several common properties: They fight infection, contain hormone-like compounds, and initiate regeneration. Working as the chemical defense mechanism of the plant, essential oils possess potent antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties.

Viruses, bacteria, and the like don't become immune to the healing properties of essential oils, unlike they do with modern drugs such as antibiotics. Manufactured drugs typically include a few chemical components bonded together, while each essential oil is a complex blend of hundreds of chemicals, intricately balanced by nature.

Many therapeutic grade essential oils contain sesquiterpenes, which help increase the amount of oxygen in the limbic system of the brain. More oxygen in this part of the brain, especially near the pineal and pituitary glands, leads to an increase in secretions of endorphins, neurotransmitters, and antibodies. Frankincense, sandalwood, lavender, and cedarwood are some of the oils that contain sesquiterpenes.

Another of the ways that these oils work in the body is through the amygdala. Researchers discovered in 1989 that this gland plays a role in the storing and releasing of emotional trauma. The only way to stimulate the amygdala is through the sense of smell. Therefore, therapeutic grade essential oils can become a tool to help in the releasing of emotional trauma, one of the myriad reasons people use addictive, mind-numbing substances.

Young Living is the firmly established leader in the Essential Oils Industry. It is the only company of its kind that grows its own plants from seed, harvests them in greenhouses, distills and packages the oils to make sure that there are no pesticides or chemicals of any kind in the product so you are getting Therapeutic Grade or Grade A Pure Organic Essential Oils. If you look at the labels of other oils, such as those offered in health food stores, they're only perfume quality and not Therapeutic (medicine). To make sure you're getting therapeutic grade oils they must be Afnor or Iso approved.
