Tarot Readings The purpose and intent of a Tarot reading is to offer you deeper knowledge so that you can gain awareness of the many options available to you in any situation. When you have greater knowledge about your situation you will then be able to choose wisely your path of action in order to transform the situation into its highest and best potential. During a Tarot reading, the information I receive and share with you is based on the current energy at the time of the reading. Know that you are empowered with free choice, and at any time you can choose to change the energy, and thus, the outcome of any situation. A Tarot reading is not about predicting your future. There is one simple reason for this: it is no longer possible. We are now fully empowered and are creating our own present and our own future with the choices we make and with our intent. This is my favorite deck because it is more versatile than a deck using the traditional rectangular cards. The round cards allow degrees of energy flow or blockage to be interpreted, as opposed to the limited choice of either upright or reversed positions of the rectangular cards. The female energy of these cards offers a deeper insight into the emotional issues that you may be facing currently. The first Tarot reading I had was with the MotherPeace, and when I decided to buy my first deck, it was the MotherPeace deck that I felt most drawn to. These cards are each beautiful works of art, depicting the energy of the card rather than using the traditional symbols. Each time I use them, the reading is deeply profound and I feel an extraordinarily strong connection to Spirit. This deck was waiting for me in Makawao, Maui, in a small metaphysical store. As I picked it up, the first card I turned over was the Tower card. It literally took my breath away. As I stood there gasping for air, I knew I had to have this deck. Little did I know how the reaction I had to the Tower card would be an accurate reading of upcoming major life changes for me, appropriate to the meaning of the card. This deck is closer in design to the more commonly used Rider Waite deck than are the other two decks that I use. I find the illustrations in this deck are more colorful and friendlier than the Rider Waite deck, while still retaining the traditional symbolism of the older deck. Pictured are three of the Major Arcana cards - The Tower, The High Priestess, and the Fool. Currently I have over 50 Tarot decks. Although these are the ones I use most often any of the decks may be used. Which deck I use is determined by spiritual guidance - yours and mine. Readings are one hour and are done by phone.
